Many worshipers attended his sermon because they could relate with his method of preaching. He had been a mentor to many youths who could relate to his preaching.

The Diocese of Homa Bay decided to suspend the Priest for 1 year with effect from June 3, 2018 citing that it would have been wise for the Priest to consult the Bishops to find out if the preaching method was in accordance to their doctrine.
