A female politician based in Nairobi and owner of the popular Ruby Cut Gardens Restaurant along Chania Avenue in the upmarket Kilimani area peed in front of friends who accompanied a man she claimed to be her boyfriend to pay the dowry for her wife.

The incident happened in Awendo, Migori County during the cultural wedding between Bonke Komwayi and his wife Felicitty.

According to sources well aware of what happened, Risper Adinda urinated in the main house of the mother-in-law of Nairobi Businessman Bonke Komwayi during the traditional marriage ceremony graced by more than 50 friends and family of Bonke and his wife.

Risper was tasked with breaking the marriage of the duo who are madly in love. Bonke took more than 15 heads of cattle and 12 goats as well as hundreds of thousands to take the hand of the woman he loves.

After the food was served and dowry discussed, Risper started behaving badly by demanding attention from Bonke every time he attempted to talk to the wife. She started restricting the engagements with the wife and even insisted on serving Bonke food.

After 6 PM, guests were to be entertained by renowned benga musician, Emma Jalamo. Emma started performing and within 45 minutes, hell broke loose. Risper Adinda decided to go to Bonke Komwayi’s mother-in-law’s house and pee. Screams were heard from all over the village and even uniformed police officers from Awendo Police Station hired to provide security, were lost for words.

Guests including Kenya Union of Savings and Credits Co-operatives (KUSCCO) CEO George Ototo and Kenya Tsetse and Trypanosomiasis Eradication Council (KENTTEC) CEO Dr Pamela Olet were confused and decided to leave in the confusion and extremely embarrassing situation.

People who know Risper Adinda confirm that she is capable of doing what is alleged since she chased her own sister, Susan Awino, from her matrimonial home after snatching the husband, George Owino Achola (Migori MP 1992 – 2002).

Former MP Owino Achola has since abandoned his Migori home to her as he can’t keep up with her theatrics.

Asked why he did all the above, Risper denied that and only insisted that he is being defamed. More than 15 of the tens who graced the event confirms the incident. Risper has claimed now that he will be taking Bonke to court.

However, critics question why Bonke decided to have women grace his private cultural marriage ceremony as Luo traditions always advise against that so as to avoid incidents like the above.
