Souza achieved widespread fame playing the orphan Mili in the Brazilian remake of the telenovela Chiquititas on SBT from 1997 to 1998.
Following this, she released her self-titled music album in 2000. She joined Rede Globo, where she portrayed memorable characters such as the country girl Mirna in Alma Gêmea from 2005 to 2006.
Souza played Carola in O Profeta from 2006 to 2007. She portrayed Isadora Dassoin in the comedy series Toma Lá, Dá Cá from 2007 to 2009.
In 2010, she took on the role of Thaíssa in the remake of Ti Ti Ti. The following year, she played the comedic villain Camila in Aquele Beijo.
Souza appeared in Malhação as Bernardete from 2013 to 2014. She served as a reporter on The Voice Brasil in 2014.
