    Former Belgut MP Eric Keter Has Passed Away At Nairobi Hospital

    Eric KeterThe immediate former Belgut MP, Eric Keter has passed away at Nairobi Hospital.

    The former legislator who has been suffering from diabetes died today morning (December 4)of a heart attack while receiving treatment at the Nairobi Hospital.

    The immediate former MP vied as an Independent candidate in the August 8th general elections but lost to Jubilee Party candidate Nelson Koech who is the current MP.

    He will be remembered for his passion to promote peace . He asked tribes within his constituency to intermarry as a way of ending tribalism and promote peace.

    Eric Keter was a former 400 meters hurdles athlete  and also a Kenyan Record holder in the discipline. He died at the age of 51.
