Former CNN Anchor Jim Acosta Marries PBS Correspondent Liz Landers

Former CNN anchor Jim Acosta has married PBS NewsHour White House correspondent Liz Landers in a ceremony held in Arlington, Virginia.

According to reports, Acosta, 55, and Landers, 35, exchanged vows on Saturday, June 6, at the Army Navy Country Club, surrounded by family, friends, and colleagues from the media industry.

The couple reportedly met while working at CNN and became engaged six months ago during a trip to Hawaii.

Speaking ahead of the wedding, Landers said the venue held special significance for her family, noting that her grandfather, a retired Army general, spent much of his later years at the club.

“It’s very special to be getting married there and I know my grandfather’s presence will be felt,” she said.

Approximately 150 guests attended the ceremony, which was described as a classic yet relaxed celebration. The wedding was officiated by Landers’ longtime college friend, John Lapin.

For the occasion, Landers wore a gown by designer Kyha paired with a custom veil created by hat designer Eric Javits and completed her look with Christian Louboutin heels and family jewelry. Acosta wore a tailored tuxedo by Geoffrey Lewis.

The ceremony featured musical performances by a string duet, while Acosta’s siblings delivered readings during the service.

Following the wedding, Landers shared photographs and videos from the celebration on social media, including images of the newlyweds at the reception and moments with friends and family.

Several prominent guests from the media and political spheres attended the event, including former White House official Olivia Troye, political commentator Tara Setmayer, and entertainment commentator Sydney Sadick Adams.
