After losing in the August 8 elections former Nakuru Governor Kinuthia Mbugua has managed to land a job at the State House.
During the general elections Mbugua lost to the current Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui.
According to reports, the former governor will be handling President Uhuru Kenyatta’s diary.
Mbugua landed the job after promising the Head of State that he would step down for Kinyanjui after failing to secure the party nominations prior to the August 8 elections.

The new role comes with heavy responsibility but given the experience Mbugua has it will help him in carrying out his new role.
“I’m serving the government and the people of Kenya in a new role,” Mbugua said.
Former Nakuru deputy governor Joseph Rutto confirmed that he was indeed aware of the appointment but had not gotten the full details from Mbugua.
This comes days after President Kenyatta invited northern Kenya leaders to the State House in Nairobi with Mbugua being among the leaders present.
