Citizen TV Presenter, Fred Indimuli resigned from Royal media services and is reportedly set to join Medimax owned- TV station, K24.

Indimuli used to host Citizen’s morning show dubbed Daybreak, together with BBC World News Komla Dumor Award recipient Waihiga Mwaura, Joey Muthengi and Willis Raburu.

He vaguely announced his exit on social media over the weekend and as he hosted his last show on Tuesday morning.

“It’s been a very good, challenging and interesting time working with you guys. My name is Fred Indimuli, signing out,” he said.

His colleague Joey Muthengi posted on social media that she was not OK with the news but wished him well.

“2 and 1/2 years ago I met one @fredrickindimuli as we joined the #PowerBreakfast team on @citizentvkenya. I must say this gentleman has a ridiculous work ethic (? I mean that in the best way). Hard working, focused, gets along with everyone…basically someone you want on your team. As you say Goodbye to #Daybreak today I just wanted to say that it’s been a pleasure working alongside you. I’ve learned a lot simply by observing how you approach your duties as an anchor. I wish you nothing but continued success. Don’t forget us little people when you make it to the big leagues ?. God speed Fred ????. Cc @willisraburu” Joey posted.

This news comes after Willis Raburu rubbished claims that he was resigning from Citizen TV to join K24.
