Nigeria Newsdesk later tweeted that NCC had reversed the order. It was not clear what was contained in the order or when it was issued.

Nigerians have today gone to the street opposing the move by their government to remove fuel subsidy which in turn leads to the rise in fuel cost. Nigeria is the 12th biggest oil producer and 8th largest exporter but the country still suffers major energy crisis which has stagnated the growth of its economy.
