Gabriel Araújo Marins Rodrigues, widely recognized by his stage name Biel, is a Brazilian singer, songwriter, and television presenter born on March 20, 1996, in Lorena, São Paulo.
As the eldest child of lawyer Eliziane Silva Araújo and businessman and former DJ Sérgio Ricardo Marins Rodrigues, he developed an early interest in music, influenced heavily by his father.
Biel gained prominence in the mid-2010s as a prominent figure in Brazilian funk and pop, earning comparisons to Justin Bieber for his youthful image and melodic style.
