Google To Launch a “Social Layer” Called Circles in May

Google is not suprising anyone when they talk of launching a social layer or social network anytime soon. They have seriously failed to show us that Google nerds are social even in any bit. At the SXSW, Google revealed that they will be taking a stab at being social in May. They will be launching what RWW broke news about (Google Circles).

According to ReadWriteWeb‘s Marshall Kirkpatrick explains, Google Circles will allow people to share stuff like photos, videos, and comments and other messages with friends in a circle. Google looks to be looking to do what Facebook has not done. Google wants you to communicate with a “Circle” of friends and you should control how much stuff you share out there. You will have friendship levels and the closer they are, the more you will be able to share with them.

Google has failed in being social with even the much hyped products like Google Buzz and Wave not getting to stir the interractive sides of us.
