Thika United edged out Gor Mahia 1-0 in a Kenyan Premier League Sunday fixture at the Thika Municipal Stadium.
Michael Odongo netted the second half lone goal to hand Gor Mahia their second loss of the season.
The win gave hope to Thika who are rock bottom of the 18-team league with just four rounds to go.

Gor did not train for the who week ahead of the tie as players demanded 8-match winning allowance.
The players had earlier in the week threatened to give a walkover but honored the match nonetheless.
Gor already won the league for a record 17th time with six matches to spare and are only honoring the remaining fixtures with no clear target.
