Gor Mahia and Kariobangi Sharks have been confirmed as Kenya’s representatives in the CAF interclubs next season.

According to the latest list released by CAF, Gor will play in the CAF Champions League while Sharks will take part in the Confederation Cup.

A total of 110 clubs from across Africa will play in two competitions; 57 in the Champions League and 53 in the Confederation Cup.

The competitions will begin at preliminary stage starting 27 November with lowly ranked teams battling it out for places in the first round and eventually the ground stages.

Gor Mahia reached the Confederation Cup group stage this season for the first time in their history but missed the knock out round by a whisker.

Sharks on the other hand will be playing continental football for the very first time after winning this year’s SportPesa Shield.
