The murder of Sharon Otieno has shed the light in Migori governor Okoth Obado philandering ways. It seems that the 26 year old was not the only lady warming the governors bed.
He is alsosaid to have been having an affair with his wife’s step sister Rhoda Odie Nyakwaka. Though Ms. Nyakwaka has denied the affair but villagers who spoke to the Nairobian said that the two have been cosy for about three years.
The affair became apparent after the governor gave Rhoda a job at the county offices in the catering department . He is also said to have bought his sister in law a house in Nyasare estate in Migori town.
Close relatives also revealed that Ms. Nyakwaka was forced to terminate a five month pregnancy belonging to the governor after angry relatives said that they had crossed a blood line. Hellen Obado and her sister are no longer in speaking terms as a result of the affair.
Though the two have denied the villager the affair between the two is public knowledge. Cliff Ombeta , Obado’s lawyer has dismissed this affair saying that it was just a rumor and there was no truth to it.

“That is a cooked story. There is nothing like that, it’s just a rumor that is flying around,” he said.
The governor was also found to be the father to the unborn child of Sharon Otieno who who was seven months pregnant before she was murdered. According to her mother the governor had been asking her to abort her unborn baby and police say that could have benn the motive
