Jubilee allied governors have been tasked with ferrying county representatives to witness the swearing in of president Uhuru Kenyatta and deputy president William Ruto on Tuesday 28 November.

Nandi Governor Stephen Sang, Baringo Governor Stanley Kiptis and Uasin Gishu’s counterpart Jackson Mandago have confirmed that they will be attending the ceremony at Kasarani with entourages from their counties.

They said that it has been a long electioneering period and that the supporters of Uhuru Kenyatta wanted to witness the historic swearing of president Kenyatta and his Deputy.

The Governors did not however specify where the funds for ferrying the supporters will come from but buses will be sent to those counties to collect the supporters.

Central Governors are also said to be making plan for the same.

The governors also asked the President should not allow the opposition to cause chaos on that day and that they should let president Kenyatta to complete his term as they wait to battle it out with Deputy President William Ruto in 2022.

Opposition NASA has announced a major rally at Uhuru Park on the same day Tuesday that will be led by the Coalition’s honchos.
