Zimbabwe’s First Lady, Grace Mugabe Assaults Sons’ Model Friend (Photo)

Gabriella Engels, 20 year old model has accused Zimbabwe’s first lady, Grace Mugabe of assaulting her during her visit to South Africa.

Gabriella was apparently visiting Mugabe’s sons, Robert Junior and Chatunga Bellarmine at a hotel in Sandton on Sunday.

Mrs Mugabe is said to have stormed into the room and hit her and her two friends with a plug of an extension cord splitting the model’s head open in three places.

According to Ms Engels, they were ‘just chilling in the hotel room when the first lady came in and started hitting us.’

The model said that Robert Jnr was ‘put out of the room while Bellarmine ran away.’

Mrs Mugabe had with her over 10 body guards who stood by and watched as she laid her hands on the ladies.

Gabriella mother told Times Live that she was planning on pressing charges against the first lady.

South Africa’s Department of International Relations spokesperson said that Mrs Mugabe would not qualify for diplomatic immunity as she was not in the country on official business.

Grace has however handed herself over to South African authorities and will be appearing before a magistrate at 2 pm.
