In 2005, Massafera gained nationwide fame as a contestant on the fifth season of Big Brother Brasil, finishing as the runner-up with 40% of the public vote.
Following her time on the reality show, she signed a contract with Rede Globo, initially working as a reporter on the program Caldeirão do Huck and posing for the August 2005 issue of Brazilian Playboy, which became the best-selling cover of that year.

Siblings
Grazi has three brothers named Alexandre Massafera, Alecsandro Massafera, and Juninho Massafera.

For instance, Alecsandro assisted her during her Miss Paraná pageant win in 2004, helping with preparations and offering encouragement during that pivotal time in her early modeling days.
Raised by their parents, seamstress Cleuza Soares Massafera and bricklayer Gilmar Massafera, the siblings experienced a modest upbringing in Paraná, which Massafera has occasionally referenced in interviews as grounding her amid her rise to fame.

Massafera’s career began in the world of beauty pageants and modeling before evolving into a successful acting trajectory.
After her runner-up finish on Big Brother Brasil in 2005, she quickly capitalized on her popularity, securing commercial endorsements, magazine covers, and a contract with Rede Globo.
