Guus Til Siblings: Meet Klaartje, Daan and Kees

Guus Berend Til is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Eredivisie club PSV Eindhoven and the Netherlands national team.
Born on 22 December 1997 in Samfya, Zambia, where his father worked in development, he moved with his family to the Netherlands at the age of three and grew up in the Bijlmermeer neighbourhood of Amsterdam.
Til has represented the Netherlands at various youth levels and made his senior international debut in 2018.
Siblings
Guus is the youngest of four children. He has two older brothers named Daan and Kees, and one older sister named Klaartje.
The family lived for a time in Zambia and Mozambique due to their father’s development work before settling in Amsterdam’s Bijlmer area.
Til has spoken fondly of his siblings and the distinctive Dutch names they share, noting how the group stood out during their early years in Africa.
Career
Til began his youth career at local clubs Geinburgia and SV Diemen before joining the AZ Alkmaar academy in 2010.
He made his professional debut for AZ on 4 August 2016 as a substitute in a UEFA Europa League play-off match against PAS Giannina.

Over the following seasons he established himself in the first team, becoming a regular and contributing goals and creativity in the Eredivisie.
In August 2019 he transferred to Spartak Moscow for a reported fee of around €18 million, signing a four-year contract.
Playing time was limited, and in September 2020 he joined SC Freiburg on loan, where he featured sparingly for the first team while also appearing for the reserves.
The following season, 2021–22, he moved on loan to Feyenoord.
There he enjoyed a strong campaign, scoring regularly in the Eredivisie and helping the club reach the UEFA Europa Conference League final.
In July 2022 Til signed permanently with PSV Eindhoven on a multi-year deal.
He quickly became an important squad member, contributing goals and assists while adapting to various midfield and attacking roles.
Accolades
With Feyenoord, Til was part of the side that finished as runners-up in the 2021–22 UEFA Europa Conference League.
At PSV he has collected multiple domestic honours, including three consecutive Eredivisie titles in 2023–24, 2024–25 and 2025–26, the KNVB Cup in 2022–23, and the Johan Cruyff Shield in 2022, 2023 and 2025.
He has also earned individual recognition such as Eredivisie Player of the Month during his time at Feyenoord.
On the international stage he has earned senior caps for the Netherlands, including appearances in major tournament preparations.
