Kenya’s Harambee Stars edged out Malawi Flames 1-0 in an international friendly played Tuesday evening at the Kasarani Stadium.

Gor Mahia midfielder Francis Kahata netted the lone goal in the second half for the Harambee Stars’ second win on the trot.

The coach Sebastien Migne’s side used the match to prepare for next month’s back to back Afron 2019 qualifiers against Ethiopia.

Migne made two changes in the squad that beat Ghana 1-0 on Saturday, replacing injured Gor Mahia’s right full back Philemon Otieno with Jockins Atudo of Posta Rangers.

Zesco United’s striker Jesse Were started ahead of Kashiwa Reysol’s Michael Olunga, who was instrumental in the Ghana win, as the French manager sought to establish a consistent team.
