Hero’s Welcome For South Africa’s Siphiwe Shabalala In Turkey (Video)

South African international Siphiwe Tshabalala was handed a hero’s welcome at the Airport as he arrived to begin his new life with Buyuksehir Belediye Erzurumspor of Turkey.

Siphiwe, 33, penned a two-year-deal with the top division outfit, ending his 11-year stint with Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs of South Africa.

The winger/midfielder joined the Amakhosi from Free States Stars in 2007, playing 342 games and scoring 55 goals.

At 91 caps, he is the second most capped Bafana Bafana player and played at three Afcons and the 2010 Fifa World Cup, at which he scored the first goal which was nominated for the Puskas Award.
