h&mEconomic Freedom Fighters (EFF) on Saturday vandalized Swedish H&M stores across Johannesburg as a ‘consequence for its racism.’

The EFF activists want the shops closed or face ‘indefinite’ action. They were protesting against an advert of a black boy wearing a green hoodie emblazoned ‘coolest monkey in the jungle.’

H&M has apologized and withdrawn the advert as well as the hoodie but has still found itself on the receiving end especially on social media.

Police were forced to fire rubber bullets at the activists who were dressed in uniforms of the country’s radical opposition party.

The five year old’s mother, Terry Mango who is of Kenyan descent told off critics. ‘Get over it’ she told them.
