    Homabay County Offices Ablaze In The Onset Of Corruption Investigations

    Homabay Governor, Cyprian Awiti’s office went up in flames last night over a suspected arson attack. The building which is situated in the middle of Homabay town caught fire on Thursday night and was still ablaze on Friday morning.

    The police county commander, Maurice Tum confirmed the incident stating that a person had already been arrested in connection to the arson. He said that the said man was found with petrol and was suspected to be behind the act.

    Earlier this week officers from the ethnic and anti corruption had visited the offices to investigate an alleged loss of Sh.5 Billion that was misappropriated by senior county official.
