How to Check Someone’s Location on WhatsApp
Knowing how to check someone’s location on WhatsApp can be useful when a person has voluntarily shared their location with you, such as when meeting up or travelling. WhatsApp does not allow you to secretly track another person’s location. The person must choose to share their current or live location with you.

Ask the Person to Share Their Location
The simplest option is to ask the person to send their location through WhatsApp.
They can open your chat, select the attachment or plus icon, choose Location, and send their current location.

Open the Shared Location
When the person sends a location, tap the location message in your WhatsApp chat.
A map should open showing the location they chose to share.

If the person has shared their live location, you can view their location as it updates during the period they selected.
The location will stop updating when the sharing period ends or when the person stops sharing it.

You can use the map displayed in WhatsApp to understand where the person is or navigate towards the shared location.
