Ian Wafula, has left MediaMax and is said to be headed for BBC as Broadcast Journalist in charge of News Review.
Wafula started off at KTN before making his way to K24 where he worked for 3 years alongside The Trend host, Amina Abdi.
The duo was in charge of the K24 Alfajiri show which was later revamped and taking over were Ciru Muriuki, Serah Teshna and Jeff Mote.
The past few months have seen major media houses poach talent from competitors with some journos quitting their jobs.

Larry Madowo, former NTV presenter also left for BBC taking over as Africa Business Editor.
Wafula made the move public saying: “Last day K24 Tv. It has been a great 3 years hosting Alfajiri, The Daily Brief and covering 2017 Elections. Great team turned family. Looking forward to my next move. Soon.”
Word also has it that KTN’s Friday Briefing host Betty Kyallo could be moving to K24, claims she is yet to deny.
It is said that the Tv beauty was offered an irresistible package which Standard Group countered.
K24 recently lost two business presenters – Zawadi Mudibo and Maya Hayakawa – to BBC.
