    Former Safaricom CEO Michael Joseph recently revealed that he would like to die in Kenya despite being an American nationalist.

    During an interview with Vodafone’s Communication Manager, Paula Naseer, Joseph also revealed more about his personal life which most people did not know about.

    He talked about him being a shy person who does not like social functions and formal dinners.

    When he was asked about how he would like his last days on earth to be,he plainly said that he would go home listen to some music,call his kids,talk to them and would like to die here in Kenya.

    The American National relocated to Kenya when he was 55 years old has dual citizenship.He has had four wives and divorced three times ,he is however married to his current wife whom he met here in Kenya.

    The man who spearheaded the M-pesa innovation also revealed that he got into mobile industry by accident despite being an Telecom engineer.

    The 71 year old claims to have retired despite still being the chairman of Lewa Wildlife Conservancy,chairman of Kenya airways and M-pesa advisory to Vodacom and Safaricom.
