Nairobi County Deputy Governor, Polycarp Igathe was caught on tape making merry with friends, among them Chris Kirubi.
In the video that has since gone viral, the DG teaches his friends the Australian toast which he learned when he got a job at the State Government of Queensland.
The video, the Star reports, was recorded right after his swearing in ceremony alongside Governor Mike Sonko.
Igathe, formerly of Vivo Energy toasts to the ‘F’ word amid laughter and cheers from his friends.
”Here is to you, here is to me. The best of friends, we will always be. And if by chance we disagree, well, F@*%k you, here is to you,” the toast goes.
After the DG’s toast, a friend adds: ”We never miss our wives, we never miss our concubines.”

Igathe tendered in his resignation on Friday, 12 January citing lack of trust from his boss to carry out his mandate.
Word has it that the DG and Sonko have almost exchanged blows at city hall and their relationship was nothing but a facade.
