IRA Announces Fully Funded UK Scholarships

The Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA) has announced scholarship opportunities for Kenyan citizens to pursue postgraduate studies in the United Kingdom.
In a public notice issued Tuesday, February 17, the authority said it is offering eight scholarships for a Master of Science degree in Actuarial Management at Bayes Business School.
The scholarship will cover tuition fees, travel, accommodation and other related expenses.
To qualify, applicants must hold a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science with at least Upper Second-Class Honours or an equivalent qualification. Candidates must have graduated within the last five years and made significant progress toward becoming Fellows of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, including passing a minimum of five professional papers.
Application forms can be downloaded from the IRA website. Completed forms, together with copies of identification documents, academic transcripts, certificates, birth certificate and school leaving certificate, should be submitted to the Chief Executive Officer, Insurance Regulatory Authority, P.O. Box 43505-00100, Nairobi, or emailed to scholarships@ira.go.ke.
Applications must reach IRA offices no later than Monday, March 2, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.
“Applicants with First Class Honors will have an added advantage,” IRA said.
