State House Secretary of Digital Communication Dennis Itumbi has taken his show of affection for Citizen TV Jacque Maribe to a whole new level.
After Ms Maribe made her first public appearance since making bail in the Monica Kimani murder case, Itumbi made sure to notify the public.
He first posted her image on social media captioning it: “Jacque Maribe, looking all good as she attends former colleague Hon. Naisula Lesuuda’s wedding in Samburu.”
Moments later the trained journalist changed his Facebook profile picture, replacing it with that of Ms Maribe.
Speaking to Pulse about a fortnight ago, Itumbi said that the journo in the presence of her parents asked him to “Tell them, we share a soul. Something deeper than love, a friendship that words can only spell but not explain.”
Itumbi since her arrest alongside her then fiance Joe Irungu, has been the ever supportive friend, showing up to every court hearing till she was duly released from the Lang’ata Women’s Prison.
The trial date was set for June 2019.
