
Gor Mahia forward Jacques Tuyisenge grabbed a brace as Rwanda drew 2-2 with visiting Central African Republic in a 2019 Afcon qualifying match at Huye Stadium Sunday.
Tuyisenge, who is the Amavubi’s skipper led by example, scoring the opener with only ten minutes on the clock but Mouhamadou Habibou leveled seventeen minutes later.
Tuyisenge grabbed his brace on the stroke of half time to end the game 2-1 in their favor at the breather.
The hosts managed to hold on to the slim lead for the better part of the second half but crumbled inside the added time as Geoffrey Kondogbia notched in the equalizer in the 95th minute.

The draw effectively ended Rwanda’s dreams of making the 2019 Afcon finals in Cameroon.
