Jens Petter Hauge is a Norwegian professional footballer born on 12 October 1999 in Bodø, Norway.
He currently represents Eliteserien club Bodø/Glimt, where he wears the number 10 shirt, and the Norway national team.
Hauge rose to prominence through Bodø/Glimt’s youth system after earlier time with local side FK Vinkelen.
Known for his pace, dribbling ability, and goal-scoring threat from the flanks, he has established himself as one of Norway’s most notable attacking talents of his generation.
Siblings
Jens is the eldest of three siblings in a football-oriented family from Bodø. His younger brother, Runar Hauge, is also a professional footballer.
Runar has since played for clubs including Grorud, Jerv, and Hobro IK in Denmark.
Their competitive sibling dynamic, marked by constant rivalry from childhood, is credited by both with driving their development.
Hauge also has a younger sister, Thale Hauge, who plays football for Bodø/Glimt’s women’s team.
Career
Hauge signed his first professional contract with Bodø/Glimt in April 2016 at age 16 and made an immediate impact, scoring a hat-trick on his senior debut in the Norwegian Cup.

He became the club’s youngest Eliteserien goalscorer that season.
After helping Bodø/Glimt return to the top flight and establishing himself as a key player, particularly with 14 league goals in the title-winning 2020 campaign, he transferred to AC Milan in September 2020.
At Milan he scored in Serie A and the Europa League.
In 2021 he moved to Eintracht Frankfurt, where he contributed to the club’s 2021–22 UEFA Europa League triumph, appearing as a substitute in the final.
A loan spell at Belgian side Gent followed before he returned to Bodø/Glimt.
Back in Norway he has featured regularly in domestic and European competitions, including notable performances and goals in the UEFA Champions League.
Hauge made his senior Norway debut in October 2020 and was included in the national team’s 26-man squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Accolades
With Bodø/Glimt, Hauge has won the Eliteserien in 2020 and 2024 as well as the Norwegian Football Cup in 2025–26.
His most prominent European honour came with Eintracht Frankfurt’s victory in the 2021–22 UEFA Europa League, making him the first Norwegian to win the competition.
Individually he was named Eliteserien Young Player of the Year in 2020 and was recognised by VG as Norway’s player of the year the same season.
He has also represented Norway at various youth levels, including the UEFA European Under-19 Championship and the FIFA U-20 World Cup.
