British Reality TV Star Jordan Wright Found Dead in Thailand

British reality television personality Jordan Wright has died at the age of 33 after his body was discovered in Thailand, authorities have confirmed.
Wright, known for his appearances on The Only Way Is Essex, was found in a drainage canal near Bang Tao Beach in Phuket on March 14. According to reports, his body was discovered face down in stagnant water by a worker at around 12:30 p.m. local time.
At the time he was found, Wright was wearing a grey T-shirt and black trousers but was barefoot. Police said his belongings, including a mobile phone and a hotel key card, were recovered nearby. The key card was linked to a hotel where he had been staying, about a 20-minute walk from the scene.
Authorities noted that Wright had failed to check out of his hotel room as scheduled on March 13, prompting concern from staff. A search of the room revealed no signs of forced entry or suspicious activity. However, CCTV footage reportedly showed him appearing restless before leaving the hotel and heading in the direction where his body was later found.
Police in Phuket say investigations are ongoing, with an autopsy being conducted to determine the exact cause of death. Officials indicated that Wright is believed to have died no more than two days before his body was discovered, but no conclusions have yet been made.
Wright rose to fame through reality television, appearing in Ex on the Beach in 2017 and later featuring in 17 episodes of The Only Way Is Essex in 2018. He later stepped away from television and returned to his role as a firefighter with the London Fire Brigade.
In recent years, he had transitioned into financial investment and had relocated to Thailand, where he was starting a new chapter of his life.
