Bomet Governor Joyce Laboso had a hard time conducting  prayers at the Bomet stadium to celebrate the Supreme court decision to uphold the reelection of Uhuru as president.

Her meeting was interrupted by rowdy youth under the leadership of Bomet central member of parliament Ronald Tonui who claimed that he had also booked the venue to conduct prayers for county officials who had been retrenched by the Governor.

Temperatures ran high after the county commissioner declared that the venue had been booked by the Jubilee coordinator and dismissed Mr.Ronald Tonui saying he had not informed the the relevant authorities about his meeting.

Joyce Laboso defended her actions in the county by urging leaders to be honest and tell the residents that contracts were not permanent and that they expire . She said that the wages were at 52 percent of the budgetary allocations  for the county which was unrealistic as it reduced the money for development

The Leaders however came to an agreement and held a joint prayer meeting.
