Jubilee Party parliamentary candidate for the Kitutu Chache South, Leonard Gwaro Mwamba, has died this evening in a road accident.
The politician passed away in hospital after his car was involved in a tragic road accident at Nyakoe market along the Kisii-Kisumu road. Another man and a primary school pupil also died in the accident.

The child was not in the car but was killed when the Land Cruiser the candidate was traveling in, lost control.Four other passengers in the car have been rushed to hospital.
According to the elections act, Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission might have to postpone elections for the parliamentary seat after the death of an aspirant.
