Rarieda MP Otiende Amollo whose car was allegedly shot at by police

Police have been accused of firing live bullets at NASA leaders including Raila Odinga, Suna East MP Junnet Mohamed and his Rarieda counterpart Otiende Amollo.

On their twitter handles, Mohamed and Amollo said police had fired live bullets at their vehicles while they were in a convoy that had gone to meet Odinga earlier today as he arrived from his tour.

“The evil doings by UK and Boinnet, live bullets aimed at my car and bullet holes. Our crime? Receiving Raila Amollo Odinga… We shall resist,” the tweet read.

Mohamed also claimed the police had shot at and damaged his car “for no apparent reason”.

This follows chaos that emerged between police and NASA leaders and supporters over Odinga’s homecoming.
