Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) has a couple of overzealous and egocentric senior officers hindering the growth of their subordinates.
In our possession is a dossier showing just how two KAA employees have been overbooking training sessions oversees for courses out of their scope.
Kahawa Tungu is training its eye on Selina Gor, Kisumu Airport manager and her Isiolo counterpart Christine Eyanae.
While Ms Gor for example is a Corporate Communications expert, she has been booked for at least 4 course trainings in Korea, some under Airport Management, security and engineering.
She is also on a long list of KAA employees scheduled to attend another training in Singapore. Here she is listed at least three times.
Ms Eyanae on the other hand will be making two trips to Korea and another to Singapore, locking out potentially qualified personnel from these fields.

Their thirst for knowledge, we understand is driven by the amount of money paid to individuals who attend these expert trainings per day.
“These are Egocentric leaders aimed to enriching themselves with per diem and not for the content there in,” a source intimated.
