Kariobangi Sharks are the The Super Cup winners for the 2018-19 season.

The Slum Boys edged out Gor Mahia 1-0 at the Kasarani Stadium Sunday to bag the season curtain for the very first time.

Second half substitute Sidney Simale scored the all important goal in the 53rd minute in a spectacular fashion – turning K’Ogalo’s defense inside out before placing past Boniface Oluoch on the far left.

The match paves way for the new Kenyan Premier League season starting next week.

Ahead of the big kick off, Gor Mahia will head to Blantyre – Malawi for their CAF Champions League second leg match against Nyasa Big Bullets on Wednesday.

The first leg in Nairobi ended 1-0 in favor of Gor Mahia.

Sharks on the other hand will be traveling to Djibouti to face Arta, whom they thumped 6-1 in the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup.
