A KCSE candidate has died after collapsing in the school compound in Homa Bay county.
Toddy Otieno Ouma was playing football after writing his exam at Atemo Mixed Secondary School when he suddenly collapsed.
He was rushed Atemo Mission Hospital for first before being taken to Matata Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
According to those closest to him, he was in good health and had not complained of any health issues.
His remains have been taken to the Matata Hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem.

Similarly, A Gesiaga Secondary School student, Keith Mong’are also died on the first day of the national examinations.
The deceased was struggling with a heart problem.
