    KCSE Candidate To Know Their Fate Before Christmas

    Candidates who sat for the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations will know their fate before Christmas this year.

    The Kenya National Examination Commission Chairman Professor George Magoha said that that the exams which were concluded on Wednesday would be marked in the next three weeks .

    “We will ensure swift and efficient services are rendered so that the candidates can see their achievements before Christmas,“ Prof. Magoha stated.

    This sentiments were echoed by the Education CS Amina Mohamed who said that the the results would be announced before Christmas.

    Magoha said that the chief examiners had already started receiving scripts in Nairobi for commencement of marking.

    CS Amina said that the  results will be released early so as to allow parents to enroll their children in college programs that commence in January.

    This will be the second year that KCSE results are released in December, last year former Education CS released the results by December 30.

    The KCPE results have already been released with the candidates expected to be enrolled to secondary school  at the beginning of the year.
