Kenya will on Friday night know their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) group opponents.
The draw for the Africa’s premium football championship is set for today, starting 8.00pm Kenyan time in Cairo Egypt.
On the Thursday, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) released the draw pots based on the latest FIFA ranking with the approval of the Executive Committee.
Kenya, who are currently ranked 108, is in pot 3 alongside South Africa, Uganda, Benin, Mauritania and Madagascar and are likely to land top sides from pot 1 and 2.
Kenya made the cut for the first time in 15 years and coach Sebastien Migne is confident they will not be in Egypt to add numbers.
