Kenya Mori, born Kenya Mori Ochoa on January 15, 1976, in Montevideo, Uruguay, is a Uruguayan-born Mexican actress known for her contributions to telenovelas and films.

She comes from a family with mixed heritage, as her father, Yuyi Mori, is of Japanese-Uruguayan descent, and her mother, Rosario Ochoa, is Mexican.

Raised in a multicultural environment, Mori pursued her passion for acting by studying at TV Azteca’s Centro de Formación Actoral (CEFAT), which laid the foundation for her career in the entertainment industry.

Although she has maintained a relatively low profile compared to some family members, her work spans over a decade.

Her film work continued with “La banda de los tanditos” in 2002 and “El secreto oculto” in 2003, where she played Mariana.

That same year, she took on supporting roles in the telenovelas “Enamórate” as Jimena and “La Hija del Jardinero” as Carolina “Carol” de la Vega from 2003 to 2004.
