Kenya Power Alerts Customers Of Paybill Payment Disruption

Kenya Power has announced a temporary disruption in the payment of electricity bills through its mobile money paybill number.

In a notice issued on Monday, the company said it was experiencing a system interruption affecting payments made through paybill number 888888.

“We would like to inform our esteemed customers that we are currently experiencing a system interruption that is affecting payment of electricity bills through our paybill 888888,” the statement read.

Kenya Power assured customers that efforts were underway to restore the service as soon as possible.

In the meantime, the utility company advised customers to make payments at Kenya Power banking halls located across the country.
