
Kenya Power Directors will spend one more night in remand at Gigiri Police station awaiting their bail ruling on Tuesday at 8 AM.
The Directors including suspended Managing Director, Ken Tarus, his predecessor Ben Chumo and other senior managers were charged with six charges of economic crimes, abuse of office and conspiracy to defeat justice in purchase of substandard transformers worth over Sh409 million

All the Directors denied the charges and will be arraigned in court on Tuesday morning to determine whether they will be granted bail or not.
