Kenya Sevens Team Members Jump On Famous Malwedhe Challenge (Video)

The Rugby Kenya Sevens Team members decided to jump on the famous Malwedhe challenge which has been going viral for the past week.
The challenge involves a dance where people collapse at every turn, in line with the song which sings,
“Kena le bolwedhe bja go idibala, wa nhlala kea idibala (I have a sickness of collapsing, if you break up with me, I collapse.)”
South Africa’s King Monada released the song about how relationships and break ups affect his health.

The challenge has elicited mixed reactions as people have been performing it everywhere: in classrooms, while driving or performing other duties.
South Africa’s Road Traffic Management Corporation has warned citizens against performing the challenge while they are behind the wheels, as it poses a risk to other road users.
Some people have termed it as a risky challenge but that has not stopped anyone from joining in the fun.
