There was a light moment in Machakos when Senator Kipchumba Murkomen who was playing for the Elgeyo Marakwet County team, was forced to wear NRM’s RESIST cap after Siaya county beat his team in the final game.
In jest, Murkomen tweeted his experience clearly indicating that we need to only resist the negative temptations and all those that create divisions.

The senator is one of the strongest critics of NASA’s RESIST movement which is about boycotting certain services and products which are from those who sponsor or identify with Jubilee’s strong hold on to power.

The inter-county games in Machakos attracted more than 30 counties with Siaya county team winning against Elgeyo Marakwet in the semi-finals.
