KMTC Nyeri students are angered by the move to transfer their school’s principal barely a year after she was appointed.
The students took to the streets of Nyeri to march to the County government office to demand for the reinstating of Principal Zipporah Njeru.
The Kenya Medical Training College Principal is appointed by the Cabinet Secretary of Health under the advice of the Board of Management.
The students claim that principal Zipporah has done more for them than their previous principal had done nothing in the 9 years that she was present. They believe that Madam Zipporah had their best interest in mind because she actually listened and acted upon their concerns.

The students have termed this move as a dubious act by cartels who want to run the school.
They met with the county government officials who have promised to support their cause but the students are vowing that they will not go back to class until their grievances are heard.
