KNH, KUTRRH advertise job opportunities; here’s how to apply
Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) and Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral and Research Hospital (KUTRRH) have advertised several job opportunities for qualified professionals.
KNH job vacancies
In a notice issued on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, KNH announced vacancies for specialist medical positions.
The hospital is seeking to recruit a Chief Medical Specialist in Diabetes and Endocrinology, as well as Medical Specialists in Neurology, Paediatric Pulmonology, Paediatric Gastroenterology, Pain and Palliative Care, Plastic Surgery and Cardiothoracic Surgery.
The hospital has advertised one position in each of the above specialties, alongside two positions for Medical Specialists in Orthopaedic Surgery-Hand.
Interested candidates who meet the minimum requirements have been asked to download and complete the application form available on the KNH website.
Applicants are required to submit the completed application form together with a detailed curriculum vitae indicating their qualifications, experience and current responsibilities.
They must also attach copies of testimonials and academic and professional certificates, which KNH said must be serialised.
Completed applications should reach the hospital by Monday, September 7, 2026.

KUTRRH vacancies
KUTRRH has also announced three senior management vacancies.
The hospital is recruiting a Director, Human Resource and Administration, a Deputy Director, Human Resource Management and Development, and a Deputy Director, Administration.
One position is available for each of the three posts.
KUTRRH has directed interested applicants to review the detailed job descriptions, qualifications and application instructions on its careers page.
Applications must be submitted through the hospital’s online recruitment portal, with the subject line clearly indicating the position being applied for and the relevant job reference number.
For example, applicants for the Director, Human Resource and Administration position should indicate “Application for Director, Human Resource & Administration” together with the job reference number.
