KTB, EBK, NRF Among State Agencies Recruiting For Various Positions

Several government agencies have announced job openings, inviting qualified Kenyans to apply for positions across different departments.

The Kenya Tourism Board (KTB) is seeking to fill seven positions. In a public notice released on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, the agency listed vacancies for Assistant Deputy Director of Partnerships and Resource Mobilization, Assistant Deputy Director of Business Tourism and Events, a Marketing Officer for the regional market, a Public Relations Officer, and two positions for Marketing Officer – Social Media.

Interested applicants can find full details about the jobs and application procedures on KTB’s website: www.ktb.go.ke/vacancies. All applications must be submitted online by 5:00 p.m. on June 30, 2025. Hard copy applications will not be accepted. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.

Successful applicants will be required to comply with Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 on leadership and integrity. This includes providing clearance certificates from relevant government institutions.

The Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK) has also advertised three senior positions. The agency is looking to recruit a Director of Planning and Resource Strategy, a Human Resource and Administration Manager, and a Finance and Accounts Manager.

Job descriptions, requirements, and application details are available on the EBK website under the careers section via the link: https://ebk.go.ke/recruitment/. The application deadline is 5:00 p.m. on June 25, 2025. Only online applications will be accepted.

Meanwhile, the National Research Fund (NRF) is looking to hire for three roles: Principal Accountant, Principal ICT Officer, and Principal Human Resource Management and Development Officer. Applicants should review the full job details on the NRF website at www.nrf.go.ke. Applications must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on June 30, 2025.

In addition, the Kenya Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (Kenya-AIST) is hiring professors in several fields including Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, ICT Engineering, and Civil Engineering. Interested candidates should submit their applications by July 9, 2025.

The National Defence University-Kenya has also announced multiple job openings. Details on the available positions are expected to be published on the institution’s official website.
