The late Gakuru Wahome funeral procession is underway at Kagumo high school in Nyeri County.
The funeral has been attended by the top creme and political scions of this Country including President Kenyatta, his Deputy William Ruto, former President Mwai Kibaki, Governors,and a plethora of politicians.
A family member identified as Ndegwa while eulogizing the late Gakuru said they had spend the night preceding hi death and that they “ate ugali three time” and left at 2AM.

He said Gakuru had personally tasked him with getting 100 buses that were to ferry the residents of Nyeri to the Supreme court and surround it.
“Gakuru adored you and he was going to that interview to defend your win,” he said adding that “we were to take people to surround supreme court like the Israelites did the wall of Jericho.”
He finished by cursing whoever had a hand in Gakuru’s death but added that if it was God’s plan then they would accept.
He said the late Gakuru and the new Governor and formerly his deputy were childhood Friends whose fathers had worked together and that the family of Gakuru will support Kahiga to deliver Gakuru’s dreams for the Nyeri people.
