M-Shwari has issued a public warning over fraudsters purporting to have the ability to increase or influence customer loan limits.

In a statement, the mobile lending and savings service clarified that M-Shwari limits are managed solely by NCBA Bank through an internal process that evaluates various factors to allocate limits fairly and within established guidelines.

“No third party or individual has the authority or ability to alter your limit,” the statement read. “To grow your limit, simply borrow and repay on time, save more with M-Shwari, and maintain a good credit history.”

The company urged customers to remain vigilant and only interact with M-Shwari through official customer support channels, including Safaricom’s 100/200 lines, NCBA’s numbers 0711 056 444 or 0732 156 444, and verified social media pages — MShwariOfficial on Facebook and X.

M-Shwari further advised customers to ignore any unsolicited offers or individuals claiming to have insider access to their loan limits.
