The number of people seeking employment in Qatar has rapidly grown with most them getting stuck in the Arabic country for lack of travel documents and air tickets to return home after falling out with their employers.
In July a Kenyan woman, Marion Mary Machuma was apparently beaten to death by her employer, a GCC national, who later called the police saying that her African maid had fallen down the stairs.
Ms Muchuma was murdered for apparently asking her employer for her dues.
