Man fatally stabbed outside club in Siaya Town

Detectives are investigating an incident where a 19-year-old man was found dead after being stabbed outside a club in Siaya Town.
The incident happened outside Mwisho Club on Sunday April 5 morning, police said.
The body of Meshack Ochieng, 19 was found lying outside the facility after an attack. The deceased body had a stab wound in the neck and it is believed to have been caused by a sharp object, police said.
The motive of the incident was not immediately known, police said as they moved the body to the mortuary for other procedures.
In Ugunja area, two people were seen dropping a body along the Kisumu-Busia Road near Savanah area. Police said they are investigating the incident which happened on Saturday night.
The two were confronted by a mob who beat them up before police came to their rescue. They were taken to a local hospital where they were treated and discharged. They were later arrested. They had a car which they used in ferrying and dropping the body at the scene.
The salon car was driven to the local police station and detained as an exhibit while the body was moved to the mortuary for identification and autopsy, police said.
The motive of the murder was not immediately known. The two suspects were detained for grilling and other procedures.
They were cooperating well and police said they were solving the murder on Sunday.
Elsewhere in Funyula, Busia County, a man was found dead in a groundnut farm.
The body of the victim had deep cuts on the head and neck. The body is believed to have been dropped in the farm by unknown assailants.
There were signs of struggle at the scene where the body was found, police said as they moved the body to a local mortuary pending other procedures.
No arrest had been made over the April 4 incident. Locals demanded justice in the murder incident.
